I love communicating and interacting with people and psychiatry let me explore and understand the different stories and backgrounds of patients. Moreover, I find psychiatry really creative, interesting and challenging throughout your career, it is intriguing to learn and think about the mental health from different perspectives and views.
What would your advice be to new trainees to get the most out of their training experience?
What I would like to suggest to you all new trainees is explore and develop your basic skills in psychiatry during the training especially communication skills, think about what do you want to experience most from this core training, think about your interest and passion and how you can link these with specific aspects or speciality of psychiatry.
